My life is more fun now

Hi! It's been a while hasn't it?! Well apparently, the last time I wrote was in May aka my magical month! Lots of changes happened in my life since then and thankfully, they were all good changes.

I'm just giving a quick update but yes, I actually got extended a permanent full time offer at my company literally 2 months into my co-op role, due to circumstances. I was honestly shocked that they liked me that much lmao. I was literally applying to a bunch of companies around the June-July area because I really wanted a full time PERMANENT job somewhere. Regarding that journey, I got lucky to have a few interviews but omg, it's actually harder to get interviews for an entry level role than a co-op role for sure. Entry-level roles are so vague and it's frankly annoying seeing job ads categorize themselves as that, but they're looking for someone with prior experience already lmao. A new term really has to be made here!

Well on the bright side, all those interviews I had in the past were good experiences. I never had to do 20+ interviews within a few months before. In the past, I usually get one interview and then I'd get the position. If only life was that simple. But I think everything that happened was meant to happen. I ended up in my current company after all and I like it here! Got so lucky to have an awesome small team and an amazing manager.

Since I'm on my way to becoming a professional in my field now, I realized that I won't have much to share I think. You can get an abundance of information through youtube about HR! I started to privatize my socials now because I kind of revealed my spotify to the company (I shared a music playlist that I crafted just for them) so yeah. Oh! Regarding that, I hope someone actually likes my songs in that playlist. I laid it out in a certain way to keep you in this mood. I listen to that playlist sometimes myself! Lately I have been listening to hype BTS songs though lol.

Anyways, it stemmed from my spotify but I started to privatize my remaining "public" social media aka instagram. I saw how my coworkers did the same and I think that it's for the best. I had ideas of archiving my pictures because it does reveal a lot of information about my location so I will get to it when I have the time. But 300+ posts...I don't know why I loved posting back in the day omg. I remember in highschool, I had a phase where I posted literally every week LOL. I think the only account that will never be private is my twitter. That is my favourite place. I use an online alias aka the name that I go by online sooooo I hope it's all fine. It's not like I do anything bad on it lol.

Regarding my leisure time, since I have lots of time now (outside of the remaining final assignment and other personal learning stuff), I play lots of games. I started playing SoulWorker again and turns out, they republished and started from "scratch" again in May 2021! The timing is so convenient. I think the developers wanted the game to remain a certain way so they had to depart with their previous company or developer? Not sure. I originally quit SoulWorker because of uni. I literally quit so many of my hobbies because I didn't have the time back in uni. No wonder it was such a downer experience lmao. I swear I quit over 10 games in the span of 4 years. BUT NOW I AM FREE kind of.

Caption 1: I literally got first job on August 3rd. I literally went from lvl 36 to lvl 52 in a matter of 2-3 days because of the exp boosts. This is her first job outfit and she looks so CUTE.

The other two games I still play are GXB2 and Genshin Impact. I'm starting to fall out of love with GXB2 but lots of my guildies still love it and my guild is pretty strong so yeah.

Overall, it's nice to get back into my hobbies again. My only hobby was really gaming and occasional reading but I don't see myself reading actual novels anymore. I like art and I just prefer manhwa.

Also regarding COVID, I literally dread ever having to go back to in-person in the fall. It wont be 5 days per week THANKFULLY but I really dread the commute. It's also concerning how the delta variant is still evolving yet there's people out here going out mask-less even if they are vaccinated. I browse through some of my insta stories and frankly, it's disappointing. I developed some feelings over the past year and yeah, I know for sure that I'm keeping a distance from a lot of people based on their actions during the pandemic.
