Hello!
So today, I got to actually hang out with one of my old friends, Shania! It was a pretty long day with a lot of walking, both in the warm and cold environment. I think it was in the negative single digits today.
I got to actually try out my first actual ramen from an actual ramen restaurant today though. Initially, we were planning on eating at an udon noodle restaurant that shania recommended, BUT NOPE, IT WAS CLOSED FOR THE HOLIDAYS. So, relying on trusty google maps, we managed to find another nearby udon restaurant since we didn't really want to walk back to the yonge-dundas square area to go to that restaurant. BUT YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENED?? THAT PLACE WAS ALSO CLOSED FOR THE HOLIDAYS. Mind you that it is December 21 today. Either we had really bad luck or it was a sign that we shouldn't have udon noodles today LOL. Or it was a pair never meant to be </3. In the end, we just resorted to going to the nearby, not THAT pricey restaurant, which happened to be a ramen restaurant.
Going in, it was a pretty small area and we were seated similar to a bar style? It was pretty full but luckily we only had to wait a couple of minutes. There wasn't really much options for the kinds of ramen they offered. I went with the pork original since it had less vegetables (I dont like veggies), and it was the cheapest option there (10.99).
After all my years of finally getting to try "real" ramen, after all that hype from my peers (since im a ramen lover), I was pretty disappointed in the taste. The noodle was pretty chewy and nice, the soup was ok, I didn't really like the ingredients used (and it didn't really sit well with my stomach, so I had to give away a part of it to Shania). Overall, it was edible but it was incredibly disappointing since I had such high expectations. >_> Will never have ramen at a ramen place ever again. It fills but ehh...this is why I will always love udon noodles. Q_Q They never fail to wow me. I officially dub myself as an instant ramen lover, instead of just a ramen lover. =-=
Anyways, my feet was hella sore because of the walking and the boots that I wore. Those boots are not made for walking long distances lol. I was really close to forming a blister on the bottom of my foot and one top for both of my feet. Q_Q
After that long traffic, I finally made it home and arrive to see that there are two packages left in my front door. One of them was for my dad >_> BUT THEN AS I READ THE OTHER ONE MORE CLOSELY, IT WAS FOR MEEE. I was shook af because I only have one order left!! I was surprised by the size of the box because I remembered that the item was supposed to be a certain size.
After opening the box, I see this!

That's when I got it confirmed that it was indeed my limited edition zodiac cinnamoroll!! It came in such a cute package. They also gave you a sticker!! Here is the plush:

Overall, it's roughly an inch taller than Bunnicula..so roughly 6 inches tall. It is so soft, and so flipping cute. I love the design of it so much. The ears are really big and very squishy. It has more interior material softness in the ears compared to my Bunnicula.
Unfortunately, this plush wasn't for me...I bought this for my SO. When I first saw this plush, I showed it to them and they loved it a lot...so I had to buy it. I kept it a secret though until just a few hours ago. UGH I really want this for myself but ehh, I love my plush that arrived last week, and of course, Bunnicula. Usually I'd leave the plushes outside but for this one, I put it back in the original bag and box, and stored it in my drawers, to preserve its newness.
Oh which reminds me! Today is Berry Bear's 10th bday!! She's my #1 plushie since it basically was with me as I went through the most important years of growing up. Still so shocked that I was in grade 5 just ten years ago...time sure flies by so quickly.
Yeah, today overall was pretty fun and nice. It was relaxing to see an old friend again, but at the same time, it was tiring thanks to my boots. This is why running shoes are always the most reliable footwear to wear.
So this is probably it for my christmas! Usually me and conti dont exchange christmas gifts ever, but I just HAD to get this for them. The more I look at it, the more I want it for myself though LOL.
I don't know if I will be doing an end-of-the-year post that reflects back on 2017 or nah...it really depends on my mood.
I have so much hmwk to do over this break but I didn't even start it yet... >_> Gotta find the motivation for that.
I think I'm going to skip working out today (2x in a row) because my feet are just so sore atm. I can't even walk properly sadly. >_>
I shall see you guys at the end of the year, or next year!!
Until then!
