Is summer almost over?

As I am writing this, I just realized that July is almost ending in just 2 days! For some Americans that I know of, school starts around next week for them already...SUCKS. This year, uoft starts a bit earlier too...but only by a few days, since they implemented that reading week in first term. ♥
(It's not even a legit week though, sadly).
This summer did not even feel like a summer...mainly because I am taking classes during the summer term of uoft. My course ends around the middle of August, meaning I have about 2-3 weeks off before the fall term starts again. Sad. Q_Q That is not enough of a break. I DESERVE AND WANT MORE.
Usually I spend my summer either working (at a job(s)), volunteering at some place(s) and/or just going out with my family and friends. However, as I get older (and everyone else too), everyone has less chances of being able to go out (due to schedule conflicts and just LIFE in general).
Frankly, this was a relatively /chill/ summer (not really because endless math homework-I'm not even kidding there). I don't have much time to socialize as much due to that, WHICH IS SUCH A PITY. You either see me leave my house because of family outings, or just school/errands. Other than that, ya girl and calculus are like glued together. Soul partners. Yay.
I really do hope to do at least something entertaining during the 3 weeks that I have no school. I hope to meet up with some of my friends though, since I haven't seen them personally in AGES.
Oh! This weekend, I'm going to Montreal with the fam fam ♥. I normally am ok with travelling there (since I go there annually), but this year, I'm kind of worried since I do have school to worry about too. I have been trying to finish the required problem sets (since I am behind) and attempt to be a week ahead of material, (for my Montreal trip). The last thing I want to do is stress during the whole trip, or be trapped in my hotel doing endless calculus. >_>
I was surprised that the long weekend was already happening next weekend....I knew August was about to start on Tuesday, but the two ideas didn't connect for me yet until I actually looked at the overall calendar. Back to school shopping is already coming soon too...IS THIS HOW MY LIFE AS A UNIVERSITY STUDENT IS GOING TO BE FOR THE NEXT 4-5 YEARS?? >_> IT'S NOT BADDDD (yes it is) but I prefer something a bit more DIFFERENT and EXCITING.
Unexpected stuff always happens. You never know. \(*^*)/ I could be in outer space or something in the next summer or so (just kidding).
